stayed at simmer motel for three nights, and it was great! the double room was really comfortable with an awesome bed, and the shower had great water pressure. plus, it’s super close to downtown! they also had a clean pool with plenty of toys for the kids.

Charming stay with a twist

The themed Wizard of Oz room was a delightful surprise, complete with fun decor and a well-equipped kitchenette. The beds were comfortable, making for a restful night’s sleep.

However, we encountered a few cleanliness issues, such as stains on the carpet and an air conditioner that struggled to keep up with the summer heat. Management's absence during our issues left us feeling unsupported.

I stayed in a Double Room for 3 nights, and the bed was super comfy! The shower had great water pressure, and I loved that there was plenty of hot water for the kids' baths. The decor was pretty vintage, but it didn't bother me. Just a heads up, the bed had some plastic covering that was a bit crinkly, but overall, I had a really nice stay!

the location made it super easy to walk to the OZ Museum and Wamego City Park, both just a short stroll away, while the clean room and comfortable beds provided a great resting spot after a day of exploring.

We were initially placed in a standard room instead of the king suite we had booked. Management offered no discounts, leaving us very disappointed.

Be aware that some rooms may lack adequate cooling in extreme heat, so confirm working air conditioning before checking in.

There were some broken fixtures, which made the stay less enjoyable. Overall, while the price was reasonable, the maintenance of the room left much to be desired.

It was just a proper fit for a fleeting pause in Wamego with good value. The staff let us check out late due to a storm, which was really helpful. Bring your own snacks since there's no dining option on-site.
